Job summary

Hanger, Inc. seeks a Clinical Aide to support certified clinicians in orthotic and prosthetic patient care. Under supervision, you will assist with patient care preparation, device fabrication and modification, and clinical documentation, while managing inventory.

You will prepare treatment rooms, perform fabrication tasks, fit soft goods, handle documentation, and help ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Customer-facing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in a customer service or patient facing role.
• Preference for allied health professionals (PTA, OTA, Athletic trainer, etc).
• Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver's license and driving record within policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified clinicians in delivering patient care services under direct supervision.
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for clinical procedures.
• Perform technical fabrication tasks, including making and modifying molds.
• Execute treatment modifications, adjustments, and repairs as directed by the supervising clinician.
• Fit and provide soft goods items to patients.
• Provide alterations and adjustments to soft goods items as needed.
• Provide orthotics fitting services independently.
• Assist with selected patient follow-up care under clinician direction.
• Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation of all patient care provided.
• Communicate patient information and care outcomes to the supervising clinician.
