Job Summary

Assist in the fabrication of orthotic and prosthetic devices for a central fabrication lab.

Essential Functions

• 1. Must be proficient in the fabrication, repair and maintenance of orthoses and prostheses.
• 2. Must be proficient with current fabricating techniques, familiar with material properties and skilled in the use of appropriate equipment.
• 3. Ability to work with plastics, metal joints, and strong in prosthetic fabrication.
• 4. Fabricate prosthetic and orthotic devices to schedule, per work order and practitioner specifications.
• 5. Work closely with clinicians on orthotic and prosthetic device adjustments and repairs.

Additional Responsibilities

• Shipping and receiving duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

• 1. High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2. 1-2 years fabrication experience.
