Job summary

Hanger is seeking a Clinical Aide to support certified clinicians in orthotic and prosthetic patient care. Under supervision, you will help with patient prep, fabrication tasks, and clinical documentation in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year in a customer-facing role. A valid driver's license is preferred, with opportunities to grow in a nationwide O&P leader.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in a customer service or patient facing role.
• Preference for allied health professionals (PTA, OTA, Athletic trainer, etc).
• Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified clinicians in delivering patient care services under direct supervision.
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for clinical procedures.
• Perform technical fabrication tasks, including making and modifying molds.
• Execute treatment modifications, adjustments, and repairs as directed by the supervising clinician.
• Fit and provide soft goods items to patients.
• Provide alterations and adjustments to soft goods items as needed.
• Provide orthotics fitting services independently.
• Assist with selected patient follow-up care under clinician direction.
• Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation of all patient care provided.
• Communicate patient information and care outcomes to the supervising clinician.
• Ensure all patient procedures comply with clinical protocols and standards.
