Qualifications

• GS-06: Education may not be substituted for specialized experience.
• GS-07: A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualification is based on education.
• Education from accredited institutions may be used to qualify for Federal employment.

Responsibilities

• Constructs/shapes and repairs orthotic/prosthetic devices from casts and/or documents provided by clinician.
• Fits and dispenses non-custom orthotic soft goods.
• Assists with the repair, engineering, fitting and dispensing of orthotic appliances.
• Manages orthotic and prosthetic inventory.
• Requests patient specific items through ROES and responds to inquiries.
