Job Requirements
32 hour per week fulltime position, focuses on performing the following duties:
Performs, prescribes and analyzes results for the treatment of illnesses, diseases, injuries and conditions related to the eye.
Tasks include vision assessments, eye surgeries and advanced forms of eye disease in patients with significant systemic illness.
Help support specialized eye examination in pedi patients and strabismus in adults. Also assisting the pediatric opthalmologist with pediatric patients with ocular misalignment.
Responsible for evaluating and recommending treatment of patients with ocular motility disturbances.
Assists Opthalmologist in all aspects of patient care including diagnostic testing and preliminary examination.

Completion of a two year Orthoptist or Opthalmic Medical Tech program
Orthoptist or Opthalmic Medical Tech Certification
