We are seeking an Orthopedist to join our medical practice part time in the Waldorf MD and/or Glen Burnie MD area. Ideally, we are looking for a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon or non-surgical orthopedist, trained in general orthopedics, to join a vertically integrated musculoskeletal practice specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of patients injured in motor vehicle accidents and work-related injuries. Additional specialties within the practice include neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, internal medicine, primary care, and chiropractic/physical therapy. In house services include physical therapy and chiropractic, (including aquatic therapy with land-based strengthening, work conditioning and work hardening, vestibular and cognitive therapy, and Functional Capacity Evaluations), electrodiagnostic, interventional pain management and x-rays. The paramount component of the administrative portion of the job duties is providing timely and accurate documentation/reports of the patient visits. We need coverage at both our locations in Glen Burnie and Waldorf and the incoming physician can determine which location(s) they chose to cover.
