2-day work week (Mon and Tuesdays)

We are looking for an Orthopedist / Physician Medicine and Rehab (PMR) Physician to join our medical practice part time in Colorado Springs, CO. We are seeking a BC physician to join our dedicated healthcare team in providing high-quality care in our office that focuses on knee/joint dysfunction and pain. The job duties require performing focused orthopedic/musculoskeletal evaluations of patients, ordering and reviewing diagnostic testing, and performing joint injections (Knee). This position offers an excellent work-life balance with no call, no nights or weekends, and a supportive work environment! The incoming physician preferably has experience with knee injections/viscosupplementation (preferably fluoroscopy guided), and we will provide training. We are flexible in our needs and will consider a range of specialties for the position, including Orthopedists, Pain management physicians, ER, PM&R/Physiatrists, Occupational medicine, FP/IM, and Sports Medicine Physicians.

Our physicians and providers work closely with our patients to continue the tradition of dedication, commitment, and high-quality care. Each patient’s progress is closely monitored. Our primary goals are restoration of function and pain relief. We use the most current techniques to treat and manage each patient to suit their individual symptoms, needs, and healthcare goals.

Duties:

  • Patient exam/evaluation (ortho/MSK focused - medical history, HPI, review pertinent records/imaging/reports)
  • Order and review diagnostic imaging as needed
  • Diagnosis and treatment care plan formulation
  • Follow the protocol to learn safety, efficiency, and care plans
  • Patient education regarding diagnosis and care plan
  • Referral to therapy and other resources as deemed medically necessary
  • Treatment - Knee injections/Viscosupplementation
  • Documentation - timely and accurate
  • Collaboration with other healthcare providers for comprehensive care

Qualifications:

  • BCBE Orthopedists, Pain Management, PMR/Physiatrists, Sports Medicine physicians, but would also consider Family Practice Physician or Internal Medicine Physician
  • Licensed MD/DO in Colorado
  • Experience with knee injections preferred

Schedule:

  • Part time (Monday and Tuesdays) 12-16 hrs per week

Compensation:

  • $150/hr plus potential bonus compensation
