Job summary

Arrowhead Orthopaedics seeks a Claims and Remittances Supervisor to lead the office revenue cycle operations. You will supervise the claims submissions, ERA/EFT processing, and payment posting, ensuring accuracy and timely reimbursement while protecting patient and physician data with professionalism.

You will collaborate with Finance to reconcile payments and deposits, monitor performance metrics, and drive workflow improvements across the department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration preferred.
• Minimum 2–5 years in a healthcare setting with prior management experience required.
• Familiarity with healthcare billing and insurance processes.
• Strong leadership and team supervisory skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electronic claims transmission and clearinghouse operations.
• Lead ERA/EFT processing and claim transmission troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Finance to reconcile payments, EFTs, remittances, and deposits.
• Ensure daily/weekly/monthly reconciliation of payments and balances.
• Direct posting and allocation of insurance and patient payments.
• Identify and resolve payment posting discrepancies and variances.
• Maintain payer fee schedules and system configuration.
• Improve workflows to reduce payment variance and improve efficiency.
