Collective Group is seeking a Physician Assistant specialized in Orthopedics in Colorado to support surgeons with pre- and post-operative care, patient assessments, and mobility planning. This full-time role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting.

The PA will perform clinical duties under supervision, manage post-op follow-ups, coordinate transfers when needed, document encounters meticulously, and ensure patient safety across all care steps.

Competenze

• Maintain Colorado licensure, DEA and IBOP certifications.
• Maintain BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 2 years experience in orthopedics or emergency care settings.

Mansioni

• Apply and remove dressings, sutures, and/or staples.
• Evaluate, treat, and provide follow-up care for post-op patients.
• Perform physical assessments and return-to-work evaluations.
• Assist the physician with patient duties including rooming, vital signs, patient history.
• Evaluate and stabilize patients with acute serious medical conditions and injury.
• Facilitate transfer to an emergency facility or hospital.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Manage patient care in a timely, productive manner.
• Interpret radiology, EKG, lab tests, and basic pulmonary function tests.
• Document every patient encounter accurately.
• Complete required quality assurance steps in patient care.
• Bill appropriately for each visit.
• Interface with office, lab, radiology, and nursing staff; coordinate with hospital personnel.
• Inpatient coverage at admission or transfer; discharge reporting.
