Job description

Seeking a BE/BC orthopedic surgeon to join our team of 3 orthopedic surgeons. You will experience a team-oriented work environment with experienced colleagues. We have recently opened a new 20,000 square foot Women's Center, featuring modern labor and delivery rooms, gynecological surgery facilities, and educational spaces. Additionally, our new 120,000 square foot medical office building expansion includes flexible clinics, procedure suites, centralized imaging facilities, an updated pharmacy, a new food service area, and a Starbucks.

Position Details

• Position is open due to increased volume.
• Call is 1:3, with call pay available if exceeding contractual call requirements.
• Currently, there are 2 full-time orthopedic surgeons and 1 full-time orthopedic/spine surgeon employed by the hospital.
• Supports one hospital and one clinic.
• Clinic hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• X-ray is onsite in the clinic.
• Physicians have their own nurse plus additional float nurses.
• 5 OR rooms with dedicated block time.
• Procedures include MAKO robot-assisted partial knee, total knee, and total hip replacements.
• MD/DO anesthesia coverage with CRNA support.
• Strong primary care referral base.
• Hospitalist team support.
• 12-bed ICU with critical care specialists.
• 24/7 hospitalist coverage.
• Interventional radiology services.
• Annual ER visits: 28,000.
• Teaching opportunities are available.
