Orthopedic Surgery opening in Missouri
Located in West Plains, MO
Full-Time & Permanent
Seeking a BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon to join group.

1. Position is open due to increased volume.
2. Call is 1:3, call pay available if exceeding contractual call requirements.
3. Currently, there are 2 full-time orthopedic surgeons and 1 full-time orthopedic/spine surgeon employed by the hospital.
4. Supports one hospital and one clinic.
5. Clinic operates Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
6. X-ray onsite in clinic.
7. Physicians have their own nurse plus additional float nurses.
8. 5 OR rooms with dedicated block time.
9. MAKO robot-assisted partial knee, total knee, total hip procedures.
10. MD/DO Anesthesia coverage with CRNA support.
11. Strong primary care referral base.
12. Hospitalist team support.
13. 12-bed ICU with critical care specialist.
14. 24/7 Hospitalist coverage.
15. Interventional Radiology services.
16. Annual ER visits: 28,000.
17. Teaching opportunities are available.
