Adult Reconstructive Surgeon opening in Waterloo, Iowa - Located 55 miles from Cedar Rapids - J1 & H1 visa sponsorship

Position Details:

• Full-time, permanent
• Orthopedic Surgery - Adult Reconstructive Surgery - Physician in Waterloo, IA
• Efficient, well-supported clinic
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
• Call coverage with work/life balance
• 204-bed hospital, Level 3 trauma center with established Hospitalist Team
• 12-bed ICU with intensivist
• Support from a full range of dedicated specialists and subspecialists
• Excellent OR access with experienced staff
• Ambulatory surgery center for outpatient procedures available
• Onsite physical therapy, full-scale diagnostic laboratory, and imaging services including MRI and CT
• Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities:

• Mix of outpatient, inpatient, and surgical procedures
• Flexible workweek with dedicated surgery days at hospital and ASC
• General orthopedic surgery with opportunities for subspecialty interests
• Full range of clinical services including fracture management, total hips & knees, upper & lower extremities, trigger finger & carpal tunnel release
• In-office procedures such as injections, casting, suture removal, and joint fluid withdrawal
• Team collaboration to improve community health
