Our client, a leading community healthcare provider in southern Vermont, is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Surgeon to join its thriving Orthopedics & Sports Medicine team. Job Description:
- Deliver comprehensive orthopedic care, with a special focus on hand or foot and ankle surgery
- Work in a hospital-based outpatient clinic setting
- Treat a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, referring multi-trauma cases to tertiary care
- Utilize MAKO robotic surgical technology in brand-new, orthopedic-dedicated OR suites
- Be supported by a team of 3 Orthopedic Surgeons and 4 Physician Assistants
- Average 25+ patients per day
- Participate in a 1:4 general ortho call rotation (PA covers first call Mon Thurs; MD provides backup as needed)
- Use Cerner Community Works as the EMR platform

- Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery- REQUIRED
- If board eligible kindly state date of graduation is - REQUIRED
- Clean Malpractice History - REQUIRED
- CPR - (must be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED no exemptions
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED no exemptions
- BLS (must be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED no exemptions
- Active Vermont License (must be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED
- Subspecialty Certificate - Surgery of the Hand or Foot and Ankle - highly preferred
