Job description

Seeking BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team in west central MO.

1. Must be able to perform joint and hip surgeries.
2. Join an established practice with three respected, board-certified orthopedic surgeons and a PA, located near the hospital in a spacious office.
3. Handle a variety of general orthopedic cases with opportunities to expand service lines and subspecialty services; total joints can be a focus.
4. The group provides athletic trainers at local high schools and collaborates with university athletic trainers.
5. Participate in a successful joint camp program for joint replacement, modeled after Marshall Steele.
6. Work in an efficient five-suite Surgery Department with block scheduling, staffed with BC Anesthesiologists and CRNAs.
7. Access a full-scale Physical and Occupational Therapy Department on-site and at seven locations.
8. Utilize a free-standing Wound Healing Center with a hyperbaric chamber on campus.
9. Benefit from state-of-the-art imaging at multiple local locations, including MRI, CT, x-ray, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.
10. Contribute to comprehensive oncology and hematology care at our Cancer Center, featuring an infusion center, linear accelerator, and conference room.
11. In-patient support is provided by the hospitalist team.
12. Teach medical students in the University of Missouri Longitudinal Training (LINC) program.
