Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to provide 24/7 call coverage and clinical services in Peoria, IL. Responsibilities include OR duties, patient care for ages 17 and under, and collaboration with support staff. The position requires board certification, an active Illinois license, and pediatric orthopedic fellowship training.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Active IL License, DEA, and CSR, will take IMLC.
• Minimum 1 year experience, ACLS, BLS.

• Full complement of Pediatric Orthopedics procedures, including trauma.
• Collaboration with a PA for first assist.

Coverage Needed

• May 5, 2025 - ongoing
• Schedule: One week per month for 24/7 call coverage, OR and clinic
  • Clinic: full day (8:00-3:45) or half day (8:00-12:00)
  • Weekends: call/OR
  • Call: 7am - 7am
• Average 7 shifts per month

Clinical Details

• OR duties, clinic consultations, and patient care
• Full complement of Pediatric Orthopedics procedures, including trauma
• Patients aged 17 and under
• Call: 30min response
• Support Staff: Collaboration with a PA who provides first assist during weekday daytime hours (M-F)
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active IL License, DEA, and CSR, will take IMLC
• Minimum Year(s) Experience: 1
• ACLS, BLS
• Pediatric orthopedic fellowship training
