3. The state-of-the-art, 129-bed facility is seeking a qualified general orthopedic surgeon to join an existing practice and provide continuity of care for patients in Wise County, Virginia.
4. The Medical Group has recently invested over $12 million to expand its surgical capabilities, including four state-of-the-art operating rooms. The facility also features an 11-bed inpatient rehab unit.

About the Medical Group

The largest healthcare facility in the coalfield region, the Hospital offers a wide range of services through highly trained physicians and support staff. It supports services including surgery, OB/GYN, pulmonary and critical care, rehabilitation, and more. Recognized for outstanding inpatient rehabilitation, a black lung clinic, and high-quality imaging technology, the facility underwent a $13.3 million expansion in 2016, creating the 39,000-square-foot Health-Plex with views of the Southwest Virginia mountains.
