Job Overview Orthopedic Surgeon (MD):
Take on an impactful role as an Orthopedic Surgeon with our client in Bronx, NY, specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of orthopedic injuries and conditions. This full-time position involves collaboration with a skilled healthcare team to deliver superior patient care and outcomes.

Compensation: $400,000 - $500,000/year
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Responsibilities as the Orthopedic Surgeon (MD):

• Patient Diagnosis and Treatment: Evaluate and manage orthopedic conditions involving bones, joints, and ligaments through medical and surgical interventions.
• Surgical Expertise: Conduct specialized surgeries to restore or improve musculoskeletal function in patients with injuries or degenerative conditions.
• Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff to develop comprehensive, patient-centered care plans.
• Patient Communication: Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and surgical procedures to ensure patient understanding and trust.
• Regulatory Compliance and Oversight: Maintain accurate medical records and oversee compliance of Medical Assistants and Physician Assistants with industry regulations.
• Post-Operative Monitoring and Growth: Supervise patient recovery, modify treatment strategies as needed, and stay current on advancements in orthopedic medicine and surgery.

Qualifications for the Orthopedic Surgeon (MD):

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree required.
• Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Licensure: Valid New York State Medical License.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in orthopedic surgery, including advanced procedures for extremities (arms and legs).
• Specialized Knowledge: Experience with workers compensation and no-fault cases preferred.
• Attributes: Patient-focused, collaborative, and an excellent communicator committed to delivering outstanding care.
• Preferred: Previous experience with work-related or motor vehicle injuries.
• Additional Requirements: Authorization to handle Worker s Compensation cases.
