Orthopedic Total Joint Opportunity in Kankakee, Illinois - Located 60 miles from downtown Chicago, IL

About the Opportunity

1. Full-time, permanent position
2. Collect, record, and maintain patient information such as medical histories, reports, and examination results
3. Manage and treat patients within scope of practice
4. Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose patients' medical conditions
5. Analyze test data or images to inform diagnosis or treatment within scope of practice
6. Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients
7. Monitor patients' conditions and progress, and reevaluate treatments as necessary
8. Provide reliable, high-value, evidence-based medicine supported by education and research
9. Utilize electronic medical records to track patient visits and related information
10. Perform Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding for physicians
11. Work a full-time schedule of at least 40 hours of direct patient care
12. Participate in on-call duties during the week and weekends (not all specialties require on-call)
