Job description

A Healthcare Network in Westchester County is seeking a licensed Hand and Wrist Orthopedic Surgeon to join their team of 15+ orthopedics in outpatient practice.
About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Hours: 8am-4pm
  • Setting: Hospital owned Outpatient Office

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat injuries affecting hand mobility and function.
  • Perform corrective procedures on bones, tendons, and soft tissues of the wrist and hand.
  • Monitor post-operative healing and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists and occupational therapists for comprehensive patient care.
  • Evaluate and address both acute trauma cases and chronic hand conditions that impact daily activities.

Qualifications:

  • Board-Certification in Orthopedics
  • Board-Certification or additional training in Hand and Wrist
  • Additional Specialization in Peripheral Nerve Surgery
  • NYS Medical License
  • Authorization to work in the United States
