Orthopedic Total Joint Surgeon Job Opening in Charleston, SC

Position Details:

• Full-time, permanent; rotating weekends
• Employed
• Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery and fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Total Joints
• Must have a South Carolina medical license or the ability to obtain one prior to starting
• Practice call is rotated; ER call coverage is shared with another orthopedic group

About the Group:

The group operates a 437-bed, two-hospital tertiary-care system, serving patients in Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester Counties for over 40 years. The cardiology team also serves patients from the sister facility in the Charleston market. The CV program earned two consecutive year 3-star STS ratings in 2020 and 2021.

The second medical center is a 321-bed facility with a Level II Trauma Center, 24/7 intensive care, and is designated as a Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center seeking Comprehensive Stroke designation. The center features an award-winning Heart Center, the South Carolina Institute for Robotic Surgery, the Trident Breast Care Center, and the Joseph M. Still Burn Clinic. Critical Care services include 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist programs.
