Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center seeks an experienced Orthopedics Nurse Director to lead nursing teams, oversee daily operations and ensure high-quality patient care in the orthopedic unit. This role emphasizes collaboration, evidence-based practice and staff development.

You will partner with multidisciplinary teams to optimize workflows, maintain regulatory standards and drive clinical excellence across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Tennessee or compact state.
• 1–3 years of related clinical experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead staffing, interviewing, hiring and training of new staff.
• Oversee unit care and provide expert support to staff.
• Ensure adherence to standards of care and safety procedures.
• Coordinate unit activities and staff coverage to maintain workflow.
• Address patient, visitor, or physician complaints promptly.
• Provide leadership, coaching and collaboration with other departments.
