Baptist Health Orthopedics in Elizabethtown, KY is hiring a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinic. You will obtain vital signs, document history, reconcile medications, and support patient flow while coordinating with the care team.

Responsibilities include managing EPIC, scheduling tests and appointments, handling prior authorizations, and, after completing clinical competency, performing EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, or lab work as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience as Medical Assistant in a clinic or medical office.
• Completion of MA training program with hands-on patient care.
• MA orientation with clinical competency assessment.

Responsabilités

• Obtain vital signs and document patient history.
• Reconcile medications and document in the EMR.
• Support patient flow and prepare exam rooms.
• Manage EPIC, scheduling, and prior authorizations.
• Coordinate tests and procedures; perform on-site procedures per competency.
