Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or equivalent.
• Military Medic training or EMT-P certification.
• At least 1 year of physician-trained Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for visits and assist physicians per licensure and policy.
• Perform EMR documentation and maintain EMR inbasket.
• Maintain clean and functional work environment and report equipment issues.
• Communicate with patients respectfully and coordinate with care team.
• Support quality, process improvement, and adoption of new services.
