Job summary

Mercy is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our team. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed clinician and coordinate care with other departments to ensure safe, effective treatment for each patient.

The role requires an accredited practical nursing program graduate with an active LPN license, BLS certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Additional certifications may be required based on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with current LPN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/PEARS or unit-specific certs may be required.
• Ability to stand/walk and lift up to 50 pounds; meets physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision by licensed personnel.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments to ensure proper treatment and flow.
• Maintains professional accountability for nursing duties and patient safety.
