The Orthopedic Surgeon will be responsible for diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal issues, performing surgical procedures, and providing comprehensive patient care. The role includes collaborating with medical staff, supervising students, and ensuring the smooth operation of surgical activities.

Responsibilities:

1. Interview patients to gather medical histories and allergies.
2. Diagnose using specialized equipment to identify bone fractures or defects.
3. Perform surgical procedures to realign fractured bones/ligaments or to replace joints/hip bones.
4. Prescribe medications and supplements to alleviate pain and enhance joint health.
5. Recommend diets, hygiene practices, and exercises to facilitate healing.
6. Assist in surgeries and consult with other medical professionals.
7. Delegate tasks and coordinate activities of nurses and medical staff.
8. Monitor inventory levels of medical supplies and facilitate stock replacement.
9. Ensure surgical implements and operating rooms are sterile and ready for procedures.
10. Address lower back and spine issues through recommendations.
11. Maintain accurate records of patient profiles and treatments.
12. Guide and supervise medical students and residents.
13. Refer patients to specialists such as physical therapists.
14. Participate in research to improve surgical techniques and procedures.
15. Update families on treatment progress and recovery steps.
16. Build collaborative relationships with other healthcare providers and referral sources.
