Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa; compact licensure acceptable where applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows, email, MS Office).
• Ability to read/write English and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient patient care, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Coordinate care with physicians, staff, and interdisciplinary team.
• Document assessments, vitals, labs, medications, and education in EMR.
• Administer medications and treatments via multiple routes and document.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, discharge, and health maintenance.
• Participate in meetings, quality improvement, and risk management.
