Job summary

Hughston Clinic is seeking a Physician Assistant Cert. or Nurse Practitioner to join in Vidalia, GA, with occasional travel to Dublin, GA. The role involves direct patient care under a physician, including history taking, exams, treatment, and coordinating care.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in PA/NP, active state license, NCCPA/NP board certification, BLS, and DEA. Orthopaedics experience is preferred; travel and hospital coordination are expected as part of duties.

Qualifications

• One year experience in orthopaedics preferred.
• Master's degree from a regionally accredited PA or NP program required.
• NCCPA Board Certification or NP Board certified; BLS certification required; current state license; DEA required; satisfactory MVR.

Responsibilities

• Assist in care and treatment of patients under physician supervision.
• Conduct patient history, physical exams, and documentation in records.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies; provide treatment and wound management.
• Prescribe medications and perform injections when appropriate.
• Assist in hospital rounds, surgeries and post-discharge coordination.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with laws and regulations.
