University position with teaching opportunity.
- Joining a well-established, busy Orthopedic Total Joint program as Faculty. With one retiring physician, there is a high need for an Orthopedic Total Joint Surgeon to join their team.
- They are seeing 6 patients per day in the OR.
- They see 15 to 30 patients per clinic day and perform many procedures monthly.
- The candidate will work alongside 2 Physicians and 20 Residents in this academic and community teaching environment.
- The physician will be on call 1 to 8 or 9, with coverage by Trauma and Peds Physicians. Experience is a plus.
- The need is for 1 Physician to join the team.
- The facility has 16 operating rooms, with 4 ORs dedicated to Ortho-Joint weekly.
- The University has full procedure rooms.
- An RN Fellow Joint Program Manager provides additional support.
- The physician will have the assistance of existing staff.
- The salary for a BC/BE physician will be very competitive, guaranteed for 2 years, with productivity bonuses with no ceiling.
- Average of 14,000 work RVUs per year.
- A Recruitment Bonus of $35,000, including relocation assistance, is offered.
- Malpractice insurance will be provided by the University.
