Job summary

Ortho Sport and Spine Physicians is seeking a dedicated X-Ray Technologist to perform radiographic procedures and support patient care across our spine and orthopedic centers. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork with clinical staff.

The ideal candidate holds current ARRT certification, an associate degree (preferred), and experience with X-ray/C-Arm techniques. Strong communication, confidentiality, and meticulous record-keeping are essential in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification required.
• Associates Degree preferred.
• X-ray/C-Arm experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and staff, always in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must be able to always maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needs.
• Identify correct patient and verify the order, explain procedure to the patient.
• Position patient correctly for radiological procedures.
• Operate x-ray/fluoro/c-arm machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort, shield patient from radiation as needed.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines.
• Answer patient questions as they relate to the procedure.
• Document patient care records per policies and procedures.
• Review examinations for technical accuracy and communicate results to physician.
• Manage inventory and disinfect exams rooms and equipment.
