Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic X-Ray Machine Operator certification.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Minimum 1 year of orthopedic x-ray technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations specific to orthopedic care.
• Accurately position patients to obtain high-quality images while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Follow provider orders and imaging protocols.
• Operate digital radiography equipment and ensure image quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety practices and HIPAA regulations.
• Verify patient identity and imaging orders prior to procedures.
• Upload and document images in PACS and EMR systems.
• Maintain equipment and exam room cleanliness.
• Collaborate with clinicians to optimize patient flow and care.
