Responsibilities

• Prepare examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needs.
• Identify correct patient and verify the order; explain procedure to the patient.
• Position patient correctly for radiological procedures.
• Operate x-ray/fluoro/c-arm machine according to procedures to ensure safety.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards.
• Document patient care records per policies and procedures.
• Review examinations for technical accuracy and communicate results to physicians.
• Maintain inventory and clean/disinfect exam rooms and equipment.
