This full-time opportunity focuses on evaluation, diagnosis, and management of upper extremity and musculoskeletal conditions in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons and multidisciplinary teams.

The position offers a weekday schedule with no routine nights, weekends, or on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Pennsylvania NP license in good standing or ability to obtain before employment.
• National NP certification.
• Orthopedic, musculoskeletal, sports medicine, or surgical practice experience.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and patient management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Experience using EMR systems.
• Ability to work onsite in Philadelphia, PA and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive orthopedic evaluations for upper extremity and musculoskeletal patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with surgeons and care teams.
• Order, interpret, and communicate imaging and laboratory results.
• Perform office-based orthopedic procedures within NP scope.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, rehab, and prevention.
• Assist with pre- and post-operative patient management and continuity of care.

The selected provider will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with upper extremity and musculoskeletal conditions while promoting positive clinical outcomes through evidence-based care, patient education, and collaborative treatment planning. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive orthopedic evaluations for patients presenting with upper extremity and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic studies including imaging and laboratory results.
• Perform office-based orthopedic procedures within the Nurse Practitioner's scope of practice.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, rehabilitation, medications, and injury prevention.
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient management while ensuring continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic medical record.

Required Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner license in good standing or ability to obtain prior to employment.

• Previous orthopedic, musculoskeletal, sports medicine, or surgical practice experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing upper extremity orthopedic conditions.
• Previous experience working alongside orthopedic surgeons within a high-volume specialty practice.
• Experience performing orthopedic injections, splinting, casting, fracture management, or related procedures within scope.
• Strong patient education and rehabilitation planning experience.
• Demonstrated success improving patient outcomes while maintaining exceptional patient satisfaction.
• Stable employment history demonstrating increasing clinical responsibility and long-term commitment.
