Job summary

PeaceHealth in Bellingham, WA, seeks a BC/BE Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon for per diem/relief coverage. The role operates within a trauma team on 12-hour day shifts, handling both general and complex trauma cases and following post-trauma patients from the ED.

Epic EMR supports patient care and coordination with the orthopedic program. Applicants should demonstrate experience in orthopedic traumatology and excel in collaborative, community-focused care.

• Take required shifts for trauma/orthopedic hospitalist program.
• Manage follow-up appointments from trauma and Emergency Department.

PeaceHealth is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to provide per diem/relief coverage in beautiful Bellingham, Washington.

Ideal Candidate

• Demonstrated experience in Orthopedic Traumatology
• Comfortable with both general and complex trauma cases
• Excellent communicator with a collaborative approach and ability to work well with all stakeholders involved in a patient’s care
• Enthusiasm for serving the community and supporting the Orthopedic program

Highlights

• Primarily Hospital-based with a small outpatient component
• This position is part of a team of Trauma-trained surgeons for a 12-hour day shift
• Takes required shifts for trauma/orthopedic hospitalist program
• Follow up appointments from trauma and Emergency Department
• Epic EMR

Hourly per diem/relief rate: $379.40
