Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. seeks a Board-Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon for a locums opportunity at a North Chesterfield, Virginia hospital. The role covers on-site inpatient care, trauma consultations, surgical management, inpatient rounding, and night call coverage.

The selected physician will collaborate with emergency medicine, hospitalists, and multidisciplinary teams, document thoroughly, and maintain EMR accuracy in Meditech and eCW.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Active Virginia medical license.
• Experience in orthopedic trauma.

Responsibilities

• Provide orthopedic trauma coverage for inpatient and emergency cases
• Perform orthopedic trauma consultations and evaluations
• Surgical management for orthopedic trauma patients
• Participate in inpatient rounding and postoperative care
• Respond to orthopedic trauma needs during night call
• Collaborate with emergency medicine, hospitalists, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
