Job summary

MercyOne Genesis is seeking an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a growing team in our Level III Trauma Center. This 100% inpatient role offers a Monday–Friday 8–5 schedule with shared call and strong multidisciplinary support.

You will lead in trauma care with autonomy and access to advanced resources. We welcome BC/BE candidates with fellowship training in Orthopedic Traumatology or Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Arthroplasty, and Iowa/Illinois license eligibility.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Traumatology or Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Arthroplasty.
• ABOS Board Certified or Board Eligible.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient focus with Level III Trauma Center.
• 8–5, Monday–Friday schedule with shared evening and weekend call (1:8).
• Autonomy with strong leadership support and advanced resources.
