Lahey Clinic (Beth Israel Lahey Health) is seeking an orthopedic surgeon with dual focus on Orthopedic Trauma and Sports Medicine. The role combines high-acuity trauma coverage at a Level I Trauma Center with a robust elective sports medicine practice.

Board-certified/eligible, MD/DO, MA license required. Excellent collegial, multi-disciplinary team and opportunities for research and teaching are offered.

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in Orthopedic Surgery completed.
• Fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma, Sports Medicine, or dual preferred.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by ABOS.
• Unrestricted MA Medical License and DEA (or eligible).

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for acute trauma, fractures, joint injuries, and sports injuries.
• Participate in Level I Trauma call rotations for evaluation, resuscitation, and operative management of polytrauma.
• Maintain a sports medicine and post-trauma follow-up clinic at LHMC ambulatory sites.
• Collaborate with Emergency Medicine, Trauma Surgery, Radiology, Physical Therapy, and APPs.
• Contribute to quality initiatives, clinical research, and training of residents, fellows and APNs.
