Surgical Affiliates Management Group (SAMGI) is hiring in Twin Falls, Idaho for an Orthopedic Trauma Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center.

This 100% orthopedic trauma and acute care surgery role offers a full-time schedule with a robust trauma team and dedicated clinic. Join a fellowship-trained team with strong support for credentialing, onboarding, and career growth, serving a large regional referral area in south-central Idaho.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited PA/NP program.
• Current Idaho PA/NP license or eligible.
• NCCPA certification (PA) or national NP certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage orthopedic trauma patients in the emergency department and inpatient setting.
• Round daily on hospitalized orthopedic trauma patients.
• First assist orthopedic trauma surgeons in the operating room.
• Perform postoperative care, fracture management, splinting, casting, dressing changes, and other procedures within scope of practice.
• Participate in a dedicated orthopedic trauma follow-up clinic.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with emergency medicine, trauma surgery, nursing, rehabilitation, and case management.
• Educate patients and families regarding injury recovery and treatment plans.
