Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Orthopedic PA/NP to join our Mount Holly team, supporting the Orthopedic Trauma Service and contributing to surgical first assisting. The role requires two or more years of orthopedic experience, NCCPA or NP certification with NJ prescriptive authority, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Two years of orthopedic experience including surgical first assist.
• Experience assisting in complex sports surgery cases (ACL reconstruction, shoulder arthroscopy, shoulder arthroplasty) preferred.
• BLS Certification required and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Obtain relevant and complete social, medical, and orthopedic histories.
• Perform physical examinations using strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Order pharmaceuticals, braces, therapies, and weight-bearing status.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including joint injections and casting.
• Conduct hospital rounds and inpatient consultations, formulate treatment plans, and document thoroughly.
• Primarily support the Orthopedic Trauma Team in Mount Holly with ancillary support as needed.
