Foundation Orthopedics, part of SolutionHealth, is seeking an Orthopedic Technologist in Nashua, NH. The role focuses on applying and removing casts, splints, braces, and other devices, assisting orthopedic and sports medicine providers, and supporting patient intake and discharge in a fast-paced specialty practice.

You will educate patients on injury and cast care, maintain EMR documentation, and ensure HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 2-year college or technical training program.
• Certified or eligible for OTC certification.
• Two years of experience as an Orthopedic Technologist with familiarity with DME supplies.

Responsibilities

• Apply and remove casts, splints, braces, and other orthopedic devices while assisting providers.
• Educate patients and caregivers on injury care, cast care, and the safe use of crutches, walkers, and other DME.
• Perform patient intake, discharge, escorting, and documentation in the EMR.
• Maintain HIPAA, infection control, safety standards, organizational policies, and ongoing training requirements.
