Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA is seeking an Orthotics Assistant to support the physician in the clinic, including fitting and applying pre-operative braces, crutches, casts and other soft goods. You will help prepare and apply casts and orthopaedic appliances, remove sutures and assist with traction as requested.

Responsibilities include preparing the workspace, coordinating supplies, assessing patients, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
• Ability to lift, sit/stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
• Fluent English, verbal and written.
