Nemours is seeking an Orthopedic Tech I (Full-Time) to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Orlando, Florida. The role requires performing casting procedures, assisting providers, and coordinating patient flow across multiple Central Florida locations.

Flexibility to travel and strong attention to sterile technique are essential. Minimum 1–3 years' experience and a High School Diploma with specialized training are required; BLS certification must be obtained on hire.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma required; specialized (1 year) training beyond high school.
• 1–3 years' experience preferred in orthopedic or clinic settings.
• Travel to Central Florida satellite locations is required.
• AHA BLS certification upon hire.

Aufgaben

• Perform casting procedures and apply/modify casts, splints, and soft goods.
• Assist provider to expedite patient care and coordinate care flow.
• Inventory and care for casting materials and orthopaedic equipment.
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document in EMR.
• Support procedures and coordinate preauthorization for tests and surgeries.
• Cross-cover in other clinical departments as needed.
