Job summary

UNC Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at Lenoir, in partnership with UNC Health Lenoir, seeks an Orthopedic Surgeon to join their Kinston, NC team. This General Orthopedics role is open to experienced physicians or strong new grads, with a focus on total joint replacement.

Candidates will work with Epic EHR, perform Mako robotic-arm assisted procedures, and support local athletic teams. Relocation, PTO, CME, and full benefits are included; paid malpractice is provided.

Qualifications

• Total Joint Fellowship training or extensive total joint replacement experience.
• Willing to support call rotation.
• Board-certified orthopedic surgeon preferred.
• Experience with robotic-assisted surgery a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide general orthopedics coverage with emphasis on total joint care.
• Utilize Mako robotic-arm assisted surgery where applicable.
• Support local athletic teams and events.
• Participate in hospital and practice call rotations.
