Job summary

UCHealth Parkview Medical Group in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Orthopedics team. The role is full-time with a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, split 80% inpatient and 20% outpatient.

EPIC EMR is used system-wide to ensure coordinated patient care. The ideal candidate brings NP or PA credentials, licensed in Colorado, and NCCPA or ANCC/AANPCB certification.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing for NP track or equivalent for PA track.
• Nurse Practitioner Certification (ANCC or AANPCB) required for hire.
• Unrestricted license to practice as a PA or NP in Colorado or applicable state.
• DEA permit to prescribe medications.
• Medicare/Medicaid provider status eligibility.
• No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA lists.
• Unrestricted medical staff membership with privileges.
• Prescriptive authority as applicable.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.

Education

Master's degree in Nursing

Nurse Practitioner Certification (ANCC or AANPCB)

Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies

PA-C Certification (NCCPA)

Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
