Job summary

HCA HealthONE Rose in Denver, CO is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Orthopaedic Surgery team on a full-time basis. The role emphasizes inpatient duties including rounds, daily progress notes, discharge planning, and prescriptions, with a strong focus on pain management and care plan adjustments.

The candidate should hold an NP or PA degree with certification and a current Colorado license (or the ability to obtain one).

Qualifications

• 1–2 yrs Orthopedic Surgery experience preferred.
• Operating room experience preferred.
• NP or PA degree with applicable certification.
• Current CO license, or ability to obtain one.
• Hospital inpatient duties including rounds, documenting daily progress notes, discharge paperwork and prescriptions, pain management, care plan adjustments, and liaison between patients/families, staff, and physicians.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care team.
• Full-time position consisting of 4 workdays per week.

Qualified Candidates

• 1-2 yrs. Orthopedic Surgery experience preferred
• Operating room experience preferred
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) degree or Physician Assistant (PA) and accompanying certification
• Current CO license, or ability to obtain one
• Hospital based position primarily consisting of inpatient duties including patient rounding, documenting daily progress notes, discharge paperwork and prescriptions, pain management, care plan adjustments, functioning as a liaison between patients/families, staff, and physicians, etc.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care team
• Full-time position consisting of 4 workdays per week
