Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible Orthopedic (Spine) Surgeon.
• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine upon hire.
• Certification from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery required.

Responsibilities

• Provide musculoskeletal specialty care and medical services to patients.
• Participate in a multi-disciplinary practice with Neuro and Ortho collaboration.
• Manage general orthopedic call and operate 1-2 days per week.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

Licenses

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine upon hire

Courses and Training

• Certification from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery or the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery (required upon hire)
• Completion of an appropriate residency program (required upon hire)
• Membership on the Medical Staff of one or more WellSpan hospitals (required upon hire)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Clinical skills and knowledge of emergency medicine techniques and occupational medicine
• Teaching skills
