Job summary

HonorHealth Orthopedics-Saguaro in Phoenix seeks an orthopedic surgeon to provide comprehensive clinic- and hospital-based care. You will use open, minimally invasive, or robotic techniques to treat orthopedic conditions and participate in on-call rotations.

The ideal candidate has residency in orthopedics, board certification, and AZ medical licensure, with 2+ years of full-time experience in acute care, OR, and ambulatory settings.

Qualifications

• Completion of a residency in orthopedic surgery in an ACGME approved program.
• Board Certified Physician; current AZ state medical license; BC/BE in orthopedic surgery.
• Two years of full-time orthopedic surgery experience; acute care, OR and ambulatory clinic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinic-based and hospital-based orthopedic care using open, minimally invasive or robotic methods.
• Participate in rotating surgical call and standby services.
• Respond to emergency department calls within 15 minutes by phone and 30 minutes in person; inpatient consults within 2 hours.
• Collaborate with nursing, staff, and referring physicians to maintain continuity of care.
