Job summary

Dane Street is expanding its physician panel to include Washington-licensed orthopedic physicians for Independent Medical Exams (IMEs). The role involves in-person IMEs across multiple clinics, with independent contractor status (1099) and per-case compensation.

Qualified candidates must hold a Washington medical license, be board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery, and remain in active practice. No-shows and late cancellations have fees to protect time, and light administrative duties accompany

Qualifications

• Must hold a Washington medical license.
• Active practice in Orthopedics is required.
• Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery is required.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and perform physical exams for IMEs.
• Complete a report addressing clinical questions using AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, Sixth Edition.
• Return cases by the due date and time specified; provide timely reports.
• Conduct peer-to-peer calls as required to obtain missing information or clarifications.
• Address quality assurance issues, regulatory concerns, and provide addenda as needed.
