Job summary

Dane Street, LLC is expanding our physician panel by adding Washington-licensed Orthopedic surgeons to perform in-person Independent Medical Exams (IMEs) across multiple clinic sites, including Bellevue, Seattle, Everett, Spokane, and Vancouver.

Contractors are paid per case (1099) with no-show and late cancellation protections, and the work offers flexible scheduling for independent clinicians while maintaining high standards of medical necessity reviews and utilization management.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Washington medical license and be in active orthopedic practice.
• Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery required.
• Independent contractor (1099) for per-case compensation.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and perform patient exams to address questions.
• Prepare detailed reports addressing each clinical concern per AMA Guides.
• Return cases by due date with timely reports.
• Conduct peer-to-peer calls to obtain missing information when needed.
• Adhere to client protocols and address quality or regulatory issues.
