Job Summary: Candidates must be BE/BC and have completed both an orthopedic Surgery Residency and Hand/Upper Extremity Surgery Fellowship with competence in treating hand/wrist/elbow traumatic injuries and chronic conditions.

Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida is seeking a motivated and skilled Orthopedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our well-established and growing practice in Southwest Florida. The incoming surgeon will become part of a collaborative and experienced team, working alongside two board-certified hand surgeons dedicated to excellence in patient care.

This is a unique opportunity to quickly build a robust practice, supported by a strong referral base from within the group as well as the surrounding community. High population growth in the region further contributes to rapid ramp-up potential. Our practice is known for its collegial environment, exceptional patient-centered care, and integrated approach to musculoskeletal health.

Shared general orthopedic call rotation for surrounding hospital system (Level II Trauma Center) with orthopedic associates.

Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida is a busy multi-specialty orthopedic group looking to add a full time, fellowship-trained hand/upper extremity surgeon due to community demand and practice growth.

Practice Specifics:

Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida is the largest private orthopedic practice in SW Florida. OSSWF is located in a new medical office building consisting of 60,000 sq. ft. as well as a neighboring 8-room ambulatory Surgical Center. Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida is composed of 16 orthopedic surgeons, two PM&R physicians, and 18 Advanced Practice Providers. OSSWF subspecialties include hand, elbow, shoulder, foot & ankle, sports medicine, adult reconstruction, trauma, and spine. Multiple ancillary services including MRI, DME, PT/OT as well as digital XR, ultrasound, in office fluoroscopy suite, and surgical center.

Requirements/Overview:

BC/BE in Orthopedics
Fellowship trained from an accredited academic institution in hand/upper extremity surgery
