Overview

WakeMed Physician Practices is a multi-specialty group with over 450 physicians across various specialties. We prioritize quality, caring, and compassionate care, committed to providing state-of-the-art healthcare to our patients and community.

We are an established, hospital-owned orthopaedic group seeking to add a third full-time BC/BE orthopaedic Foot & Ankle physician to manage a full range of foot & ankle injuries at our offices in the north region of Raleigh, NC. Candidates must have completed an accredited orthopaedic surgery residency and a foot and ankle surgery fellowship, with board certification or eligibility. Level 1 orthopaedic call is supported by residents and physician assistants, with a 1:10 ratio, evenly distributed across weekends and holidays. This role offers the opportunity to practice full scope of foot/ankle surgery, including hindfoot/ankle reconstruction and trauma. There is also ASC ownership opportunity and access to excellent referral sources.

The practice currently includes 24 physicians, 35 APPs, physical and occupational therapy departments, an experienced staff, and eight office locations in greater Raleigh. Primary coverage is at WakeMed Raleigh Hospital, with access to two ambulatory surgery centers.
